LOS ANGELES (Nov. 19, 2008) Infiniti today unveiled the latest expression of its - Inspired Performance, the all-new 2009 Infiniti G Convertible, at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. The first-ever Infiniti G Convertible builds upon the performance legacy of the Infiniti G line, with the liberation only a convertible with the top down can provide. It is scheduled to go on sale at Infiniti dealers in North America in the spring of 2009, followed later in other Infiniti markets around the world.

Technology features include standard RearView Monitor options available include; touch-screen Infiniti Navigation system with XM NavTraffic® Real-Time Traffic information with 9.3GB Music Box Hard Drive, Pre-Crash Seat Belts, Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) with Preview Braking and Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS).
The G Convertible is offered in two models: the G37 Convertible and the G37S Convertible Sport 6MT, which adds sport-tuned steering and larger sport brakes, along with 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and W-rated performance tires.

The second-generation Infiniti FX is a radical expression of sport and utility; offering exceptional levels of power, refinement and driving exhilaration. Safety:
The FX offers two industry-first safety technologies: Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA), which provides forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking; Distance Control Assist (DCA), which reduces the burden of driving in heavy traffic by intuitively helping to release the throttle and apply the brakes to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

The FX Uses a Refined 4-wheel independent suspension with front double-wishbone and rear multi-link designs utilizing extensive use of lightweight aluminum components.

The Infiniti Kuraza Concept
In a design exploration emphasizing luxury rather than utility, Infiniti uses the space of its full-size Kuraza SUV to express a vision of personalized luxury. The experience begins with a harmony of natural materials and technology such as fine wood flooring and a large center monitor displaying seasonal nature images, establishing an environment of hospitality and organic warmth. Using light as a sculptural element throughout, the Kuraza’s violet-hued LED lighting creates sensuous interior lines and a sense of expanded cabin space. Six large, individual seats – their shape inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono – give each passenger maximum luxury and combine with the hospitable interior atmosphere to create a highly social space.
The Kuraza’s influence can be seen in the Infiniti EX, the personal luxury crossover with kimono-inspired seats and atmospheric interior lighting – themes first explored in the Kuraza.
