The Infiniti Kuraza Concept
In a design exploration emphasizing luxury rather than utility, Infiniti uses the space of its full-size Kuraza SUV to express a vision of personalized luxury. The experience begins with a harmony of natural materials and technology such as fine wood flooring and a large center monitor displaying seasonal nature images, establishing an environment of hospitality and organic warmth. Using light as a sculptural element throughout, the Kuraza’s violet-hued LED lighting creates sensuous interior lines and a sense of expanded cabin space. Six large, individual seats – their shape inspired by the traditional Japanese kimono – give each passenger maximum luxury and combine with the hospitable interior atmosphere to create a highly social space.
The Kuraza’s influence can be seen in the Infiniti EX, the personal luxury crossover with kimono-inspired seats and atmospheric interior lighting – themes first explored in the Kuraza.
